Tea Party

h

My mom does not mess around when it comes to a party--especially for her granddaughter. A special request from Aurora was a tea party at her Grammie's. From tea cups, to gooey chocolate chip cookies, to beautiful treasures decorating the table---Grammie did not let the girl down. It was beautiful...What a memory.

Playing with the Grandpa

We met Papa Jaynes at the park the last day we saw him. Jackson traveled from Indiana to Oregon on the map and Moo showed off her monkey skills on the monkey bars!

You Can Go Back Home

I was thrilled to get the opportunity to go back to the home I grew up in--and more than that to show the children where I lived for the first 18 years of my life. Going in was easy, I suppose since it looked nothing like what I remembered. And my goodness did it look tiny! I was tickled to see the hopscotch my mom painted us still peeking through the worn cement.

Skatin' Burnside

Of course we had to hit the famous Burnside to skate. Dave of course was thrilled with these photos!

The Oregon Zoo

One of my most favorite spots in Oregon is the zoo. It is wonderful! We didn't miss anything that day! The highlights were the train and the baby elephant Sam. Thank you Papa and Grammie for taking us!!!

Floating on the River

Going to Papa Jaynes' is always a treat to everyone! My dad and Kim have made it an awesome place to kick back and relax on their houseboat. Aurora swam in the water, the kids braved the paddle boat, and we got to meet their new dog Skip!
