All Done!

I promised pictures of the kids painted ceramics so here they are!

The Tooth Fairy

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner on Monday night. We had a good time but the best part was Aurora finally did it! She pulled out her first tooth! While the boys played pool in the playroom she was on a mission! It took a lot of encouragement but it finally happened! She was thrilled! She says it is hard to figure out how to smile now but by the looks of her proud grin I think she will figured it out! The Tooth Fairy was good to her and brought $5! Now, to get that second one out that is hanging by a thread!

Sweet Dreams

At the end of the day when all the chaos has come to a halt, Missy Moo and Jackson drift into sweet dreams. After a day of sledding, snowboarding, movie watching, room cleaning, and game playing--it FINALLY comes to end and the house is quiet...

New YearTraditions: New & Old

On New Years day the kids and I went to meet Dave on his annual bike ride. Half way through the ride they stop and watch the Polar Bear Club jump into the icy water. We always love to bundle up and watch the crazy people dive in. The kids and I agree it is NOT something we would be brave enough (or stupid enough) to do.


Later the kids and I went to paint pottery at Naked Clay Cafe. We had such a nice time sipping our drinks while painting our masterpieces! Aurora painted a unicorn and Jackson was very busy working on a cereal bowl. More pictures to come when we pick them up! The kids and I think we will make this a new tradition for New Years day.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all of you! We rang in the new year with pizza, Karate Kid (we are trying to make sure the kids know all our old favorites!), new year hats, some dancing, and of course some pots and pans! The kids actually made it till midnight!

We are grateful for 2008 as it was a wonderful year for each of us. May 2009 top it! Cheers!
